the mini-site for dan f’s new album rendition is now live. it contains full album credits & purchasing information, a rundown of the various cd box set contents plus digital formats, and (a carefully considered option we hope won’t backfire on us!) links to free downloads and how to find official torrents for this album uploaded by us over the weekend.
our decision to create our own torrent files was purely on the grounds of quality control. you get the right cover artwork, correct & complete track information, the best possible mp3 and flac encoding (direct from our master files) all zipped up and ready to go. but we are sincerely hoping that if you enjoy the album you will make the small effort to stop by here and buy a legitimate copy.
as for the normal purchase options, well, the box set CDs look bloody dope to be honest … the cds are the best quality commercial compact discs you can have made. we chose heavyweight matt laminated digipak packaging and our additional collectable items (embroidered patch, tactical shemagh, box mailer and vinyl stickers) are the best quality we could source. please note that international air mail shipping is included in the listed purchase price! despite making final accounts a nightmare for us, it means no nasty surprises for you on check-out.
so! we’ve done as much as we can - thanks for the support. while you are [hopefully] enjoying this release, dan is off busy making the next one. check back here for links to press reviews and off-site interviews.

1: Dan F “Arctic Warfare Super Magnum”
2: Dan F “Do The Decent Thing”
so-to-be-classic prog-breaks roller “arctic warfare super magnum” plus the epic-ly mashed out melodic tech-house flip-side “do the decent thing (go fuck yourself)” both by dan f will be available to purchase from Beatport starting friday 20th june 2008.
“arctic warfare…” was written in response to the fact there isn’t enough proggy rolling breakbeat around ever since will brunner aka PMT bought an old monastery in the south of france and began making fine wines. “do the decent thing…” was just written ’cause it felt right at the time even though we feel slightly stupid about it now.
both tracks were mastered by the legendary techno producer martin eyerer.

1: Whømp “Girls In Front”
2: Whømp “Busy Tone”
The mysteriously anonymous tech-house producer simply known as Whømp dropped by the studio earlier in the year and left a 4-track CD for us to release. The first two tracks “Girls In Front” and “Busy Tone” can be purchased from Beatport by clicking the link below. “Girls In Front” was played extensively by James Lavelle, Jimmy Van M, Sasha, Lee Burridge and the like in 2007.
The second instalment from Whømp “Sprinkelanlange” & “So Not So” will be out in July (after the new Dan F single “Arctic Warfare Super Magnum” and Dan’s full length album “Rendition”).
“Sprinkelanlangezimmerframebenderknocker…” was played by exclusively no-one apart from a slightly nuts French DJ by the name of Vincent Azé … on the grounds it was too bloody strange and impossible to spell. Your mileage may vary.
getting this album produced & released has been a complete battle … here’s advance warning, this time it’s for real.
artwork by hong kong based digital artist shann larsson, with physical execution by corellian engineering ltd.
as you can see from the disuye.com splash page, the album will be out on Monday July 7th 2008, and the CD mail-order version of the release will be available in the following formats (scroll below video):

here’s the first video from a new series of nights dan is promoting at bar yumla. first event was frank monoroom, and coming up this year we have dean muhsin, danton eeprom, martin eyerer and fingers crossed for several other storming techno-minimal DJs which we aren’t going to list here :)
check the links page on this site for the yumla url.
slightly old news, but we only just found out. thanks to Vini for forwarding us a promo copy of fabric 35, mixed by ewan pearson. the track “treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen” produced by lee burridge & dan f features right in the middle of the mix. pick up your copy from the fabric website.
we highly recommend that you goto the video page of disuye.com to watch our videos, however we have also started posting movie content to the ubiquitous youtube. our page can be found here.
this time the music video was produced by dig deep entertainment & pegleg productions for dan’s dead air space track. trippy spaced out ambient industrial rock - the track takes a while to get going (dan: my fault, not the video) - backed up by dystopian tedium and paranoia. happy xmas :)
dan has been incredibly busy these last few months, we’ll spare you details on the commercial work suffice to say there has been a lot of that going on. club-wise there is a new track co-produced with hyper entitled “one mistake after another” to look forward to; we’ve been up in china shooting music videos, celebrating bar yumla’s 4th year anniversary plus getting all the f**kin’ paperwork out of the way for rendition which now has everything in-place to manufacture.
the biggest headache now is trying to figure out how to play all this stuff live! the laptop thing, quite frankly (after doing it for a few years), is boring to watch and even more boring to perform. elite force was kind enough to sort out a great remix for dan’s track right on, which is also included as part of the album package. what else… too many parties, too many late nights and too much work. more info coming soon!
